All-on-4 implants

« Back to Glossary Index

All-on-4 implants is a dental procedure that uses four strategically placed and angled titanium implants to support a full arch of fixed replacement teeth on the upper or lower jaw. The contemporary procedure is typically used for patients who have missing multiple teeth or those with loose dentures and are missing jaw bone volume for conventional implants, delivering a quick, fixed and usually same-day solution to achieve a full smile.

How long do All-on-4 implants last?

All 4 implants can last 15–20 years or more with proper care and hygiene. In many cases, the implants can last a lifetime.

Are All-on-4 implants painful?

All 4 implants are not painful. You are given anaesthesia during the procedure, so you don’t feel the pain. You might feel some mild pain or swelling, which can be easily treated with medications.
