Dear Dr Shabs. This is just a note to say thank you SO MUCH for everything you’ve done for me and my disasterous teeth! Ever since I smashed my front teeth in freshers week I felt like I’ve been in the best possible hands! However, I’ve just finished a teaching course and am going to go and teach English in Jordan in two weeks time and therefore have had to register somewhere else 🙁 Whenever I’m back living in Manchester again though, I’ll be back. FAQs

How long will the treatment take?

Treatment takes place over a series of appointments, staring with the initial consultation. A small titanium screw is inserted into the jawbone under local anaesthetic or IV sedation. This then needs xxxx weeks to settle. After that, the permanent crown or bridge is fitted and the patient is then recalled for a series of follow-up appointments. The entire process takes around xxxx weeks to complete.

Will it hurt?

We aim to make the process as painless as possible. You can opt for local anaesthetic or IV sedation during treatment to minimise discomfort. We keep in close contact with you to make sure that healing is progressing well and we ask that you report any pain or discomfort to us as soon as possible so we can help you.
